Dermaplaning

Discuss surface exfoliation and the removal of fine facial hair.

Understanding your treatment

Understanding dermaplaning?

Dermaplaning is a surface exfoliation treatment using a sterile blade to gently remove dead skin cells and fine vellus hair, sometimes called peach fuzz. It can leave the surface feeling smoother and may help makeup sit more evenly.

Your practitioner will assess whether the treatment is appropriate for your skin, particularly if it is inflamed, irritated or affected by active breakouts. Temporary sensitivity can occur and aftercare advice will be provided.

What to expect

  • Removes surface dead skin cells and fine facial hair
  • Suitability checked for your current skin condition
  • Guidance on skincare and sun protection afterwards
A personal approach

Start with what matters to you.

Your consultation is an opportunity to talk openly about your concerns and preferences. Cath will assess your individual needs and explain whether dermaplaning may be appropriate.

You’ll be able to discuss the proposed approach, likely benefits, limitations, costs, possible side effects and alternatives before deciding.

Before you decide

Is this suitable for me?

Suitability depends on your health, medical history, skin and treatment goals. An assessment is needed before any recommendation.

What about recovery and results?

These vary between treatments and individuals. Ask about likely downtime, possible side effects and realistic outcomes at your consultation.

What will it cost?
